7 tips for comfortable and classy outfits with the right shoes

Avoid “Shoepidity”  and choose your shoes for more than just looking great!

Are you familiar with the term  “Shoepidity”? It is something that I avoid as a teacher. “Shoepidity” is  the act of wearing ridiculously uncomfortable shoes just because they look good.

As a teacher comfort is your number 1 rule for your outfits and certainly for your shoes. That said, it doesn’t have to stop there. You can easily add some classy elements to your outfits, so you are still comfortable while looking stylish too! I am sure this is something that appeals to every woman.

A flower dress to wear to the country of flowers: Holland

     Dress: H&M, Sunglasses: Cerjo

Last week I told you that I like to pack wrinkle-friendly clothes when travelling. This was one of the dresses I took with me for my trip to Holland, since it is absolutely wrinkle-free and it takes up no room at all in my suitcase. It’s an elegant yet very easy to wear dress, so a perfect choice for the Easter weekend, full of visits to family and friends.

For me my family and Dutch friends are the main attraction when visiting Holland. For a lot of tourists, it’s the many flowers Holland is famous for. So, this dress was in more than one way apt for this long Easter Weekend!

3 tips for awesome outfits when travelling

When you are reading this I will be travelling to Holland (or maybe already be there); enjoying time with family and friends for the long Easter Weekend. You will understand that I have packed quite some Swiss chocolate for this specific trip. The chocolate is not standard for my journeys, but I do have some other standards I stick to when travelling. I always have the following 3 considerations in mind when choosing my outfits for a trip:

Are my clothes comfortable?

Are they wrinkle-friendly?

Can I create several outfits using a few pieces?

The third consideration is especially valid when I travel light (hand luggage only), but even if I travel by car or go away for a longer period, I tend to stick to all of these three self-imposed rules.
