“The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.”

– Jim Goodwin

Last week you already had a sneak peak at this outfit. The colour scheme reminds me of a bee and that is what I have been lately: a busy bee. Busy with school, busy with voluntary work, busy with meeting friends and busy with organising a few “snack holidays“. Exactly in times like that, when you are a busy bee, you should make sure to make time to relax.

So, why don’t you do just that, grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit back and scroll through this week’s blogpost and maybe look at some more (you know there is choice of 100 others for you…), taking a moment for you!

“Time and reflection change the sight little by little ’till we come to understand.”

– Paul Cezanne

Time flies as we all know. My statistics have shown me that today’s blogpost is number 100! Hard to believe that I have written 100 blogposts in 2 years. Second-hand clothing is becoming increasingly popular, thanks to our full wardrobes and a growing awareness regarding sustainable consumption.

When you have followed my blog for a while, you will have noticed that most of my items aren’t new. I am not an overly big spender on clothes (please tell my husband this when you see him😉). That’s partly because I like what is in my wardrobe already, partly financially (I am a teacher remember) and partly for environmental reasons.

When you’re in for tips that boost both creativity and sustainability, please read on. I have found some simple steps to edit your (too) full wardrobe and have gathered some inspiring ideas to implement sustainable consumption in your life that is not about buying less clothes.

An easy to create Xmas outfit that works equally well for the post-Xmas season

Jumper: Esprit, Bag & Beret (new): H&M, Skirt: Yes or No, Necklace: gift from my mum

I assume many of you have enjoyed several Xmas events these past few weeks, like lunches, dinners, parties and so on. Sometimes they start right after work and that’s why I love this festive yet easy outfit. I can quickly create it after a day of teaching by only changing a pair of trousers for black tights and this skirt. That way I am ready to join my friends for lunch after a morning of teaching, my colleagues for Xmas drinks after a day of teaching or my husband for a superb brunch after an early winter walk. Three Xmas events in the past week and since they all involved different people, I kind of cheated and repeated the same trick 3 times, getting lots of compliments 3 times too! Life is good.
