“Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.”

– Anthony J. D’Angelo

Living close to the mountains means that you can often go there to find both snow and sunshine in winter. A luxury I highly appreciate and often enjoy. And when even going to the mountains does not bring sunshine, I bring the sunshine myself!

We were looking for this, but got a mysterious misty morning instead…

Walking along a small stream in a foggy forest offered a different kind of fairy tale beauty.

Thank you for visiting my blog and bring your own sunshine with you wherever you go this week!

    1. Hi Nancy. I have read somewhere that you should make sure that your first photo is the real eye-catcher (makes sense) and reading your reaction I have got the feeling I did just that. Yeah!!!

It was a very special walk that day. The scenery was magical thanks to the snow, the small stream and the foggy forest with a sun doing its best to show up as well. Tomorrow is going to be sunny here, so I will enjoy a sunnier snow-day. Wishing you a great weekend too. Love, Lieske

  1. You are so very lucky to have access to these majestic vistas. And indeed it must be wonderful to be able to experience snow and sunshine in one day. I love your yellow cardigan and your advice about being optimistic. I agree we all must make our own sunshine, and then share it with others.

    1. I know Elle! Switzerland is such a beautiful country and in winter it’s so great to be able to find both sun and snow pretty close. A combination that makes an ordinary day special in no time! Love, Lieske
