Wild and full of passion

Saying ‘Hi’ to the next semester of this school year. I am in the middle of the theme ‘wild animals’ with some of my classes, so I have chosen to wear this jumper to school this week (without the hat of course). Pupils really pick up this kind of subtle details, like with my halloween dress for example.

“Wild animals” is a great theme to teach, since most kids really like it. Many of them are passionate about animals, be it pets or the wild ones. When you have a passion for something, learning and developing is so much easier.

“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.” Anthony J. D’Angelo.

What counts for my pupils, counts for everyone. Therefor I’d like to challenge you at the beginning of this new year to think about your passion in life. What is it that makes you tick, that makes you happy, that makes you successful? What is it that is so important to you that it makes you go for it?

“Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focussing on what excites you.” Oprah Winfrey.

I have got a passion for teaching and languages. I love what I am doing and always find time and ways to grow in my work. I love the creative aspect of it, the interaction with my pupils and readers plus the fact that I am able to inspire others, both at school and through this blog. It gives me loads of energy, happiness and satisfaction.

Have a passionate 2018!

    1. Hi Nancy. Thanks. I saw that you have chosen the wild animal theme on your blog as well this week. Isn’t that a great coincidence? Last week we were both into floral dresses and now we go all “wild”. Happy weekend. Lieske
