You might know the saying: “A smooth sea never made a skilful sailor”. Well, you can see that I am standing comfortably on a large boat in a more than calm harbour. Still, surrounded by so many boats and wearing this striped shirt, I felt very much like a sailor.
I own a few striped shirts and this one is my favourite by far. It has got slightly shorter sleeves, which is a practical asset for petites like me. What I also like is the black neckline; I just love this kind of details. Details matter, also in communication, see: The details make the difference in the end and: The details are not the details, they make the message
My little bag matches the colours of my shirt perfectly and my ankle boots with their lovely straps are very comfortable for the classroom. I can also easily put on a black jacket or cardigan to complete the outfit for colder days. Many little details that create a classy outfit for in the classroom and elsewhere.
Oh, and one last photo for you to come back on the smooth sea and the skilled sailor. In order to become better at something it really is a good thing to cross your own limits, isn’t it?
